Two Licking residents were injured Sunday night in a crash south of Licking when a car struck a John Deere tractor, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Tpr. Jacob Sellars said a northbound 2015 Buick LaSabre driven by David T. McGaughey, 81, struck a 2005 John Deere 2050 in the rear that was driven by Christopher D. Clouse, 30, of Licking.

A Missouri State Highway Patrol accident Sunday night south of Highway BB on U.S. 63.

The crash sent three fire departments — Licking, Raymondville and Houston Rural — to south of Highway BB on U.S. 63. They were on the scene for about two hours.

McGaughey and a passenger, Gloria S. McGaughey, 76, were taken with moderate injuries by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.

Assisting at the scene was Tpr. Marty Wiseman of the patrol.
