The Houston Rural Fire Department responded about noon Monday to a fast-moving grass fire, authorities said. The 16464 Forrest Drive blaze was close to a home and propane tank.
The Summersville Fire Department was called to 21708 Wuertley Road to a grass fire at about 12:30 p.m. Monday.
At 4:30 p.m., Houston’s department were called to an outbuilding on fire near Highway 17 and Piney Drive.
