Texas County’s unemployment rate stood at 3.2 percent in December, reports the Missouri Department of Economic Development. That’s up two-tenths of a percentage point from the previous month.
Area counties and their unemployment rates are: Howell (3.0), Douglas (2.6), Wright (2.6), Laclede (2.8), Pulaski (3.0), Phelps (2.3), Dent (3.0) and Shannon (3.9).
