A special election will be held to break a tie for a Licking City Council seat that appeared on last week’s ballot.
When the votes were counted and later certified, Ward II incumbent Mike Aiken and Linda Breedlove both had 60.
City Administrator Rhonda Kirkwood said a tentative election date is set for Tuesday, May 3. Details were being finalized, and it is hoped that costs can be held to a minimum.
