One person will face charges after nearly hitting a Houston police officer making a traffic stop Monday.
The suspect darted away in a truck from the officer. At mid-afternoon Monday, officers with multiple agencies were south of Houston looking for the man. The area was generally around Indian Creek Road and Cedarlane Road.
A canine was called to the scene, authorities said. One person was reported in custody at about 5 p.m.
More details are expected later today.
