An elevated fire danger is expected today and again Wednesday as a dry air mass remains over the region, the National Weather Service said.
It said the highest fire danger is expected on Wednesday, as afternoon humidity values fall to 15 to 25 percent.
The National Weather Service said fire can spread rapidly in these conditions. Outside burning is discouraged except by experienced fire personnel.
