Christmas activities began Saturday with a “Taste of Christmas” competition in Houston.

Patrons tasted in many categories and voted for their favorites.

A bazaar was also held at the Houston Community Building on North U.S. 63.

Vendors and customers mingle during a holiday bazaar event inside the community building at the Houston Area Chamber of Commerce. Organized by Megan Ashworth, the event resulted in one of the largest-ever gatherings at the venue. Participation was so great, many vendors set up under tents outside the building.
