Robert Ross of Eunice was sworn in Wednesday as Texas County associate commissioner. He replaces Doyle Heiney who retired effective April 28. Ross was appointed to fill the vacancy by the Texas County Commission. The term expires Dec. 31, 2024. Looking on is County Clerk Peggy Seyler and Presiding Commissioner Scott Long. Ross is a former state representative.
