Texas County’s turkey harvest ranked fourth in the state when the season ended Sunday, the Missouri Department of Conservation reported.
The Missouri Department of Conservation reported 781 turkeys killed.
In Texas County, the breakdown shows 666 adult gobblers, 111 juvenile gobblers and 4 bearded hens.
Top counties in the state are Franklin (973), Callaway (801), Osage (792), Texas (781) and Phelps (770).
