The Houston Police Department is warning the public Monday evening about a situation reported in the area.
“There have been people in our area that are approaching citizens stating they have no money and need to feed their children. They are offering fake jewelry in exchange for cash,” the department said.
Persons who observe should call a dispatcher at 417-967-5999.
