High temperatures in the upper 90s into the 100s and overnight lows only cooling into the middle to upper 70s are expected today in Texas County, reports the National Weather Service.
Texas County is under a heat advisory.
Excessive heat today is expected — with some heat index values of 105 to 110, the National Weather Service said.
