Texas County is going into a heat advisory beginning Wednesday afternoon, the National Weather Service said.
Hot conditions will continue this week with afternoon heat indices of 100 to 108 degrees. The heat advisory begins Wednesday afternoon through Friday evening.
Overnight temperatures will drop into the middle 70s to near 80s will provide minimal overnight relief.
