On Thursday, Aug. 10, El Imperial, a Mexican restaurant in Cabool, will close after 48 years of service.
Mercedes Munoz, who immigrated to the United States from Jalisco, Mexico in 1965, founded the restaurant.
Three generations of Munoz’s family worked within El Imperial, over the past nearly 50 years.
Munoz plans to enjoy retirement following the closing of the restaurant.
