An inmate at the South Central Correctional Center at Licking died Friday, the institution said.
Bronson Vestal was pronounced dead there at 1:38 p.m.
Vestal, 33, was serving a five-year sentence for stealing – $750 or more from Buchanan County.
Vestal had been in prison since March 2022.
An autopsy will be conducted, authorities said.
