Texas County’s unemployment rate was down in August from the previous month, the Missouri Department of Economic Development reported.
In August, the rate was 4.1 percent. That is down two-tenths of a percentage point from July.
According to the department, the county’s total labor force was 8,795 and employed was 8,431. (Total unemployed – 364)
