The City of Houston will sponsor a holiday lighting competition for the Christmas season, it announced.
“Light Up Houston” is the theme for the contest. Winners will receive utility credit for first, second and third places in residential and business categories.
To register an address, call Houston City Hall at 417-967-3348. Contestants must live within the city limits.
Judging will occur Dec. 16.
