The Houston School District will host the 23rd annual Veterans Day Tribute to local military veterans from 1 to 2 p.m. this Friday (Nov. 10) in Tiger Fieldhouse.
The guest speaker at the event will be Houston City Administrator Lloyd Wells, a retired United States Army Lt. Colonel who recently concluded a 27-year career in the military.
There will also be music, including singing by young students. A reception will follow, with refreshments served by the Houston FCCLA chapter.
All area veterans are invited to attend this tribute held in their honor.
