Texas and Morgan counties are tied for first place in the late portion youth deer season, the Missouri Department of Conservation said early Sunday morning. Â
Hunters in both counties have harvested 49 deer. The season began Friday and ends today (Sunday, Nov. 26).
In Texas County, young hunters have killed 22 bucks, 10 button bucks and 17 does.
Top counties in Missouri: Texas and Morgan (49), Pike and Callaway (44), Howard (41) and Pettis and Webster (40).
