Three fire departments were called to Summersville early Friday morning after a kiln at a charcoal plant caught fire.
The 5:48 a.m. call to the Summersville Fire Department was at the Royal Oak plant just outside of Summerville. Later, a call for water was sent to the Clear Springs and Raymondville fire departments.
