Jennifer Hugenot has announced her candidacy for a seat on the Texas County Memorial Hospital (TCMH) Board of Directors.
Hugenot, has 13 years of experience in healthcare as a human resources and payroll professional, and possesses extensive knowledge of hospital policy and operational practices.
A lifelong resident of Texas County, Hugenot has a passion for serving her community and values the importance of access to healthcare in a rural setting. She recognizes the positive impact on the wellness of area residents, as well as the economic benefits which directly result from the jobs made available through the hospital.
“Each employee is important to TCMH,” Hugenot said. “Every role is critical to providing quality patient care. As a board member, I intend to put my experience to work to help guide an efficient healthcare system, which best serves the residents of Texas County, supports good paying jobs and ultimately contributes to a growing economy.”
In addition to her healthcare experience, Hugenot spent 14 years working in the finance industry, “The healthcare industry presents unique challenges when it comes to managing finances,” she said. “My experience in both finance and healthcare put me ahead of the curve, and when coupled with my ability to think critically, I believe I will be a strong contributor when it comes to evaluating and successfully navigating these challenges.”
When asked about her core principals, Hugenot said that she is honest and hardworking. “I believe people should be treated fairly, and with respect,” she said. “In serving as a TCMH board member, my goal is to ensure that the system thrives as one of the largest employers in Texas County, and is squarely focused on providing the best possible patient care.”
Hugenot and her husband, Curt, enjoy time outdoors at the river, fishing and hunting. They have four adult children and one grandchild.
