An inmate at the South Central Correctional Center at Licking died Monday afternoon, the Missouri Department of Corrections said.
Larry Scowden, 75, was serving a five-year sentence for statutory sodomy out of Greene County. He had been in prison since Oct. 26, 2022.
He died of apparent natural causes, the department said.
