Sales tax revenue collected by Cabool merchants during January was steady compared to a year ago, according to the Missouri Department of Revenue.
A one cent general sales tax totaled $33,247.17. That’s a decrease of $2,974.67 from the same period last year.
A half-cent sales tax for transportation needs totaled $16,623.54 in the month of January. That’s down $1,487.41 from the same period last year.
A use tax applied to out-of-state internet orders totaled $10,246.86 for the month. That’s up $3,523.33 from the same period last year.
