A motorcycle chase covered two counties on southbound U.S. 63 Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
Officers from several agencies were alerted to the motorcycle attempting to flee at a high rate of speed at mid-afternoon — over 100 miles per hour. Several near accidents were reported.
As the motorcycle came through Houston, a first responder reported seeing the male driver pop a wheelie near Holder Drive and U.S. 63.
Later, an officer traveled U.S. 63 to Cabool to see if an accident might have occurred. None was found.
