A nearly $8.14 million contract will result in the resurfacing of Highway 17 from Highway 38 to U.S. 63 in Houston this year.
The work also includes resurfacing and the addition of rumble stripes on Highway 17 from Highway AW to Highway 38.
The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded the contract Wednesday during a meeting.
Pace Construction Co. LLC is the contractor.
An additional $2.19 million contract was awarded to STF LLC for pavement marking improvements on U.S. 60, U.S. 63 and U.S. 67 in various counties in MoDOT’s Southeast District.
