A Dixon man was injured Sunday afternoon in an accident north of Success, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Chamberlan M. Wolfe, 40, was driving his 2006 Honda Reflex southbound on Highway 17 one mile north of Success when he traveled into the path of a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Chad K. Collins, 41 of Willow Springs, headed northbound, patrol said.
Wolfe suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
Both drivers were wearing a safety device. Wolfe’s vehicle was totaled, Collins’ suffered moderate damage.
