Texas County is under a Red Flag Warning for the risk of fire and a wind advisory for Tuesday, the National Weather Service said.
It said low humidity in the 20 to 25 percent range with maximum wind gusts up to 40-50 miles per hour are expected on Tuesday. Southwest winds are expected of 20 to 30 miles per hour.
The alerts run from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
