At CASA of South Central Missouri, we are steadfast in our commitment to providing a stable and supportive environment for the vulnerable children in our community. However, this mission requires the collective effort of compassionate individuals like you.

In every community, there are children whose voices often go unheard, their needs unmet, and their futures uncertain. These children deserve advocates who will stand up for them and ensure they receive the care and support they desperately need. That’s why CASA is issuing a heartfelt call to action, urging members of our community to step forward and become advocates for these young lives in need.

Despite the tireless efforts of our dedicated CASA volunteers, there remains a significant gap between the number of children in need and the number of available advocates. As caseloads continue to rise and resources become strained, the need for additional volunteers has never been more urgent.

We are seeking volunteers who are willing to stand up and speak out for the most vulnerable members of our community. By becoming a CASA volunteer, you have the power to make a profound difference in the lives of children who have experienced unimaginable hardships. As we celebrate the month of February, a time often associated with love and compassion, consider joining us in spreading love to the most vulnerable members of our community.

If you have questions or want more information about volunteering with CASA, please reach out to our Texas County Advocate Supervisor, Tracy Freitas, at tracy@casascmo.org or call (417) 260-4180. Our next in-person volunteer training sessions will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and begin on April 2, continuing for a total of five sessions. If you’re ready to get started right away, don’t hesitate to inquire about our virtual training option! The volunteer application can be found on our website www.casascmo.org.

Additionally, mark your calendars for CASA’s Annual Golf Tournament on May 18th. This event not only promises a day of enjoyment on the green but also serves as a vital opportunity to support our mission of advocating for children in need.

Your support and dedication are crucial to ensuring that every child in our community has a voice and a brighter future. Together, we can make a profound difference.
