Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting Saturday night in Dent County.
A woman notified authorities that she had shot her husband during a domestic dispute.
Dead is 40-year-old Travis Lee Bailey, who was pronounced deceased inside a residence on County Road 2520, which is in western Dent County and northeast of Maples.
Next of kin has been notified.
The Dent County Sheriff’s Department is investigating with the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Crime and Drug Control.
The investigation is continuing, the patrol said.
