The Cabool Police Department responded to several calls during the past week, including three juvenile matters.

The department reported 32 traffic stops resulting in 25 summons and 14 warnings issued. Three arrests for non-traffic offenses were made.

At 5:32 p.m. Sunday, March 17, officers were dispatched to a private property accident at a Highland Street residence. A 2004 Dodge Dakota operated by Starr Nelson, Cabool, had struck a 2009 Chevrolet 1500 operated by Jay Clark, Hartville. The same day, Nelson was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold pending issuance of a warrant. Charges include domestic assault second-degree, assault second-degree and property damage second-degree.

On March 11, John Edward Wade, of Cabool, was issued a summons for a peace disturbance.

On March 11, Kimbery Watry, of Cabool, was issued a summons for allowing a dog to run at large, no dog/cat license and possession of a vicious animal.

In total, police handled one accident, four alarms, eight animal complaints, one assault, one domestic violence call, three juvenile matters, one mentally unstable incident, two peace disturbances, one property damage/vandalism incident, one stealing/theft incident, four suspicious activities, assisted other agencies twice and assisted the public nine times. The fire department was dispatched 24 times.
