On Saturday, April 27, the Emmett Kelly Festival stage will have live entertainment throughout the day.

At 10 a.m Kirk Pierce will sing on the stage until noon. Kirk plays a variety of music that reflects his interests, from originals inspired by his roots in the Ozarks to covers by Cher and the Grateful Dead. Kirk is sure to perform something for everyone.

From noon to 1:30 p.m The STARS Foundation will perform a variety show of dancing, music and acts related to circus fun. There will be many young adults from our area performing who attend the Foundation’s programs of fine arts.

From 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. the Houston High School Jazz Band will perform on stage a set of entertaining jazz music. The Jazz Band has continued to grow and bring outstanding performances in competitions and at events. They will be a huge treat for the community to enjoy.

Ben Bergmark is a new talent to the festival who will entertain the attendees with great piano music. Ben is at Fort Leonard Wood with the 399th Army Band. Ben has been performing piano music for 18 years. Ben is a local pastor in Waynesville, Mo. If you don’t see Ben playing piano or at church, he is with his family.
