Members of the Houston board of education handled personnel matters during a regular closed session on Tuesday, March 12.
The board:
- Accepted the resignation of Sadie Gill, family and consumer science teacher, FCCLA sponsor and junior class sponsor, at the end of the 2023-2024 school year.
- Spoke with Jim Moore, elementary assistant principal.
- Extended the contracts of all probationary teachers on the list presented to the board for the elementary, middle school and high school for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Discussed non-certified evaluations and extra duty evaluations.
- Heard from Dr. Copley on legal matters.
