The National Weather Service said thunderstorms are expected to move into the area on Monday.
Here are its observations:
•The Storm Prediction Center has an Enhanced Risk (3/5) for severe weather in the orange shaded areas and a Slight Risk (2/5) of severe weather in the yellow shaded areas for Monday.
•Chances for severe weather increase in the late afternoon into early Monday night.
•The Weather Prediction Center has a Slight Risk (2/4) for Excessive Rainfall valid for Monday.
•There is still some uncertainty in specific timing, locations and hazard types.
