Sales tax revenue collected by Cabool merchants during March was up compared to a year ago, according to the Missouri Department of Revenue.
A one-cent general sales tax totaled $40,301.25. That’s an increase of $8,409.92 from the same period last year.
A half-cent sales tax for transportation needs totaled $20,150.68 in the month of March. That’s up $4,204.93 from the same period last year.
A use tax applied to out-of-state internet orders totaled $8,489.53 for the month. That’s up $2,323.23 from the same period last year.
