Eric Laverne Yerk born Dec. 17, 1967 and left us on April 6, 2024.
Eric was born in Belvidere, Ill. He is preceded in death by Violet Loretta Vance
and Joseph Laverne Yerk, step-father Larry MacDonald, and brother ¨Bill¨
William Yerk.
He worked various jobs over the years but mostly for being a fence builder and plumber. He loved life, beer and cigarettes.
He is survived by his wife Josie Jones-Yerk, his sons Charles (and wife Amber Jones) and Harley Jones. Sons Eric Joe Yerk, and Matt Agnew, and a daughter Angel Yerk from previous relationships. One grandson, six granddaughters, and three step-grandsons. Most
notable was his granddaughter Eden Blu Jones, his special sidekick always at his side and in his heart. His brothers Larrry Yerk and Delbert MacDonald, and sister-in-Law Margo Bustamante-Yerk. Various nieces and nephews and extended family members.
His love and laughter will be very missed. Until we meet again, be blessed.
