The following are excerpts from reports recently generated by the Houston Police Department:

Between April 15 and April 21, the Houston Police Department answered 184 calls for service and initiated 34 traffic stops resulting in 10 citations and 30 warnings.

  • On April 15, officers responded to Walmart for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
  • On April 15, officers arrested Joshua L. Burdick, 21, of Cabool, on an active Douglas County warrant per charge Shoplifting. Burdick was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was able to post the $50 cash-only bond and was released.
  • On April 16, officers cited Karla J. Eickhoff, 68, of Mountain Grove, for Driving While Intoxicated-Drugs and Failure To Drive On Right Half Of Roadway.
  • On April 17, officers arrested Kristina M. Shelton, 46, of Houston, on two active Texas County warrants per charge Probation Violation. Shelton was transported to the Texas County Jail, where she was incarcerated due to the warrants having no bond.
  • On April 17, officers responded to The Glass Depot for a private property motor vehicle crash. No injuries were reported.
  • On April 17, officers responded to Walmart for a theft. After completing an investigation, officers cited Devan J. Goodwin, 23, of Houston, for Stealing Under $750. Another subject, Carolyn J. Cross, 66, of Houston was cited for Receiving Stolen Property.
  • On April 19, Dean R. Notz, 77, of Success, was issued a citation for Passing a School Bus While Loading/Unloading.
  • On April 19, Edward L. Bluebaum, 79, of Houston, was issued a citation for Careless and Imprudent Driving.
  • On April 19, officers arrested Elliott A. Rivera, 43, of Houston, on an active Shannon County warrant per charge Domestic Assault-1st Degree. Rivera was transported to the Texas County Jail, where he was incarcerated due to the warrant having no bond.
  • On April 21, officers were notified of possible child pornography on an electronic device within a residence in town. Officers began an investigation into the matter, which is ongoing.
