A 10-year-boy was seriously injured Sunday in an accident on Bell Road one mile north of Success, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Dean R. Notz, 77, of Success, was driving a northbound 2016 Honda Odyssey when it ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree, said Tpr. Nathan Poynter.
The Success boy, a passenger, had serious injuries and was transported by Texas County Memorial Hospital ambulance to Phelps Health in Rolla. Notz had minor injuries and also was taken by private vehicle to Phelps Health.
Both were wearing seat belts, and the vehicle was totaled.
