The National Weather Service reports another round of showers and storms will move through the area today with a potential of severe weather and flooding.
Inside the city limits of Houston, one rain gauge showed 1.8 inches.
Another round of storms will occur Saturday night through Sunday, the weather service said.
There is a localized flooding potential through the weekend as multiple rounds of rainfall occur.
