A Willow Springs man was involved in a two-vehicle accident Monday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Carla J. King, 59 of Alton, was driving her 2020 Subaru Forester westbound on U.S. 60 two miles east of Mountain View when she struck the rear of a 2003 Sterling truck driven westbound by James V. Woods, 47, patrol said.
King suffered minor injuries and was taken by EMS to Mercy St. Francis. The Subaru was totaled, the truck suffered minor damage.
Both drivers were wearing safety devices.
Investigating the accident was Tpr. L. J. Combs. Assisting were Msgt. C. A. Kimes and the Mountain View Fire Department.
