Eight players on the 2024 Houston High School softball team have received South Central Association All-Conference recognition.
HHS Junior Makinley Aaron was named co-SCA Player of the Year (along with Willow Springs senior Madelyn Fair) and made the First Team as an infielder.
Senior infielder Kelsey Pritchett and junior center fielder Lacy Cavaness were also named to the First Team, while three Lady Tigers sophomores were named to the Second Team, including pitcher Lilly Kincaid, catcher Gracyn McNiell and second baseman Katy Evans.
HHS junior Sophia Crites and sophomore Ashley Gilbert each received Honorable Mention.
HHS head coach Jim Moore was named co-Coach of the Year for the fourth straight season (along with Ryan Bunch of Willow Springs).
