The Texas County Coroner’s office answered 23 calls in April 2024, compared to 28 the previous month.
In the community, there were 20 natural deaths including: cancer (4), heart disease (4), sepsis (4), dementia (3), lung disease (2), intestinal bleeding, Parkinson’s Disease and stroke.
There were two accidental deaths in the community, both due to falls.
There was one offender death at South Central Correctional Center in April, due to natural causes – stroke.
“I track COVID vaccine status on my cases, and I am finding certain lot numbers in common. The cancer rate in our county has abruptly risen 40%, with half of all new cancers having received two or more mRNA injections,” said Marie Lasater, county coroner.
