The Houston Community Foundation awarded an $850 vocational education scholarship to Seth Owens of Cabool, who plans to attend electrical lineman school in Georgia. The scholarship was open to Texas County students. Joining him are his parents, Kenny and Courtney Owens. Members of the foundation are, from left: Dee Dee Dunn, David Keeney, David Adkison, Ross Richardson and Kevin Buck.
