A Plato man was injured in an accident early Tuesday north of Houston, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Dakota A. Wade, 24, was driving a southbound 2016 Ford Explorer that ran off the right side of Highway 17, hitting a tree and overturning.
Wade, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston with minor injuries, said Tpr. Jason Sentman.
The vehicle was totaled in the 5:15 a.m. accident about six miles north of Houston.
Assisting at the scene was the Houston Rural Fire Department.
