The 73rd annual Raymondville Picnic kicks off Thursday (May 23) for three nights of fun and entertainment.
Thursday’s attractions are 6 p.m. midway opens, 6 p.m. Garold McCoy, 6:30 p.m. bingo and 7 p.m. stick horse race for kids ages 2- to 6 and a calf scramble.
Here is the schedule for the rest of the event:
FRIDAY — 6 p.m. midway opens, 6 p.m. Gary Alcorn – Open Road Band, 6:30 p.m. bingo and 7 p.m. team roping.
SATURDAY — 10:30 a.m. poker run, 6 p.m. midway, 6 p.m. Pure Country Band, 6:30 p.m. bingo and 6:30 p.m. barrel racing.
Admission and parking are free. Armbands are $22 in advance and $25 at the ticket box office. The midway is presented by Show-Me Amusements.
Armbands are available at Wildhaber’s Gas & Grocery, Simmons Bank in Houston, Raymondville Quick Stop and Raymondville City Hall.
