The National Weather Service said scattered storms will be possible Friday morning with marginally strong to severe storms.

There will be more widespread storms and an increased severe weather risk Friday afternoon, it said.  Large hail to the size of golf balls and 60 miles per hour winds will be the main hazards, the National Weather Service said.

The highest chance for severe storms in southern Missouri is late Saturday night into Sunday.
