The National Weather Service says there is potential for a few strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon into this evening from noon to 7 Wednesday.
The highest chance for severe thunderstorms is along and south of U.S. 60 toward the Missouri and Arkansas line.
It said the primary hazards will be damaging wind gusts and large hail. There is a low risk for localized heavy rainfall and flash flooding.
