The National Weather Service said rain will become widespread by the afternoon today and gradually shift east tonight.
It says the amount of precipitation will vary greatly. Persons should be on the alert for flash flood warnings.
A few showers may linger across the eastern Ozarks, such as Texas County, on Saturday, but locations elsewhere should be much of the day dry.
