The Miss Missouri Scholarship Competition concluded its final night of competition Saturday at Missouri Military Academy in Mexico, Mo.

Miss Kansas City won the crown.

A local pageant contestant advanced to the top five in the pageant. Miss Heart of the Ozarks Hanah Schrader of Joplin was among top contestants. She placed third-runner-up.

Throughout the week, the 16 delegates participated in a rigorous schedule of practices, events and appearances, personal interview with the judges, and preliminary competition.

The daughter of Shenan Thorn and Robby and Kim Schrader, she is a student at Bolivar Technical College.

The top five finalists for Miss Missouri are third runner-up, Miss Heart of the Ozarks Hanah Shrader; first runner-up, Miss Audrain Tabitha Crain; Miss Missouri 2024 Ashley Berry; second runner-up Miss North Kansas City Courtney Rowe; and fourth runner-up, Miss Spirit of St. Louis Halie Hebron.
