The U.S. Army Engineer School said farewell to Brig. Gen. Clete Goetz and welcomed Col. Stephen Kolouch during a change-of-commandant ceremony May 31 at the Maneuver Support Center of Excellence Plaza.

During the ceremony, Goetz transferred responsibilities for U.S. Army Engineering School and the Engineer Regiment to Kolouch.

Kolouch comes  Fort Leonard Wood in nearby Pulaski County after serving as the director of the Office of the Chief of Engineers at Headquarters, Department of the Army.

Goetz is slated to take command of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Pacific Ocean Division in Hawaii.
