An accident north of Cabool early Thursday seriously injured a driver on U.S. 63, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
Tpr. Zayne Tate said a northbound 2018 Ram 3500 driven by Joshua C. Cantrell, 41, of St. James, ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail and overturned down a steep embankment. The vehicle came to rest on its side about five miles north of Cabool, ejecting the driver who was not wearing a seat belt.
Cantrell was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The vehicle was totaled, Tate said.
