Kick the mud off those boots and the dust off those cowboy hats! Summersville Library’s 10th Annual Cowboy Roundup is planned for 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, June 8, for cowboys and cowgirls of all ages,
Haylee Brawley, barrel racer, will be at Summersville branch library with her favorite horse, Husker, to give rides to all the children who want to saddle-up, and Summersville Friends of the Library will provide a free lunch at their “chuckwagon” around high noon for everyone.
Other activities planned are roping lessons from Dusty Bell, water gun target shoot, stick horse races and a few games of horseshoes — all with prizes for the winners.
The event is sponsored by Summersville Friends of the Library and Texas County Library.
